Julia Suddenly

Aperture (2014)

A short film shot on 8mm format, Aperture delves into the experience of simultaneity and the miraculous. The work’s particular style emerged through the imposition of rigorous production constraints: the film was composed entirely of single consecutive takes, with all edits executed in-camera during the shooting process. This approach serves as both a formal and thematic reflection of the film's focus on serendipity through the apparatus of the analogue camera lens.
